AddressWe are looking for an experienced Warehouse Team Lead in Markham.
Job responsibilities:
- Administer and execute the activities of receiving operations
- Ensure accurate and timely receipt of merchandise
- Coordinate all inbound shipments throughout the receiving area to maintain an efficient flow of merchandise
- Maintain safety compliance on forklifts, dock doors, lights and restraints
- Maintain receiving accuracy rate of 100% through enforcement of all procedures and policies
- Ensure the timely investigation of discrepancies and follow-up training on all errors
- Ensure proper merchandise handling techniques are used to prevent product damage and shrink
- Develop and coach team members to achieve department goals and objectives
Qualification :
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of operations or logistics experience, ideally in a shipping/receiving capacity
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team-oriented workforce
• A working understanding of warehouse management systems
• Proven experience managing personnel to meet operational objectives
• Strong at multitasking and task delegation
• Organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to perform data analysis and reporting using Excel
Salary $50,000/year
