Warehouse Worker - Forklift Operator

Adecco is hiring skilled Warehouse Workers with Forklift experience for our client in Dartmouth, NS. This role requires a valid forklift certification. Permanent Residence or Canadian Citizenship is required to obtain security clearance for this position. If this describes you apply today!

·         Pay Rate: $26 - $28 /hour

·         Location: Dartmouth, NS

·         Job Type: Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.

• Completes deliveries by driving truck to and from vendors.

• Maintains truck or van by completing preventive maintenance requirements.

• Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests.

• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Requirements:

• Working in an industrial, customer focused environment.

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract

• Must be able to drive a truck not exceeding 14.000 kg (30.864 lbs) - Class 5 Driving License

• Motivated to learn with a positive attitude

• Ability to work with minimum supervision

• Forklift experience required

• Receiving experience, and computer skills will be considered assets.

• Must be able to get Government of Canada Security and Controlled Goods Clearances

• Permanent Residence or Canadian Citizenship is required to obtain security clearance for this position
