Water Analysis Technician Duties:
· Conduct routine Water Analysis tests to assess water quality parameters such as pH, turbidity, chlorine levels, and conductivity.

· Operate and maintain water treatment equipment, including pumps, filters, valves, and chemical feed systems.

· Implement water treatment protocols and procedures to optimize treatment efficiency and effectiveness.

· Monitor and adjust chemical dosages based on test results and system requirements to maintain optimal water quality.

· Perform preventive maintenance tasks on equipment to ensure reliability and minimize downtime.

· Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement corrective actions as needed.

· Maintain accurate records of test results, chemical usage, equipment maintenance, and regulatory compliance.

· Collaborate with direct supervisor to address water treatment-related issues and achieve operational objectives.

· Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in water treatment technology and techniques.

· Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Required Skills:
· High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in water treatment is preferred but not required.

· Strong understanding of water treatment principles, processes, and equipment; proficiency in conducting Water Analysis tests and interpreting test results; familiarity with regulatory requirements related to water treatment and environmental compliance considered an asset but not required. In house training will be provided.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.

· Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records using a centralized data system.

· Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
