THE ROLE:
We have an incredible opportunity for a highly motivated professional to join our Production team, located in Calgary, AB. Reporting to the Team Lead of Production Engineering, you will be responsible for efficiently managing daily operations, as well as contribute to the planning of both short and long term Water Management strategies.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:
- Create and manage water sourcing, transportation, and storage strategies to meet the needs of pad completion and production operations
- Identify water infrastructure expansion and debottlenecking opportunities which allow for cost reductions and/or reliability and environmental improvements
- Select, direct and assist service providers which include water transfer specialists, chemical providers and trucking companies
- Develop and maintain forecasts for both produced water volumes and capital budget spending
- Implement and oversee Management of Change (MOC) projects applicable to water infrastructure
- Lead multidisciplinary groups for water infrastructure maintenance and improvements, including Asset Integrity, Facilities, Operations, Completions, Production and Regulatory teams
- Assist in preparing reports in relation to the Water Sustainability Act
- Liaise with peer producers, regulators and internal stakeholders to minimize fresh water usage as well as environmental impacts of water operations
WHAT YOU BRING:
- A Bachelor of Science Degree in Petroleum, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of experience
- Registered as an Engineer in Training (EIT) or P.Eng. with EGBC and/or APEGA
- Working knowledge of British Columbia Energy Regulator (BCER) management of saline fluids rules and regulations
- Proficiency with Siteview, GeoSCOUT, Open Invoice/Ticket, SAP, ProMonitor, and PowerBI is preferred
- Previous experience with pump curves and pipeline modeling is an asset
- Project and budget management experience is an asset
- Strong organizational, and prioritizing skills; ability to handle multiple responsibilities effectively while maintaining a professional demeanor, even in critical and time sensitive situations
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally to all levels within the organization
- A highly motivated team player and self-starter, dedicated to accomplishing tasks with a high degree of accuracy and flexibility to meet operational demands
