Our projects include Parliament (West Block & Centre Block), Lansdowne Park, Rideau Street, Elgin Street, multiple OLRT Stations to name just a few. We're looking for a Hydroseeder/Water Truck Driver helper - If you are physically fit, enjoy working outside and love landscaping, this is the role for YOU!!
Position Description:
- Combining mixture of seed, mulch, fertilizer, soil amendments, and water, and applying it evenly to the intended surface.
- Water newly planted sod, trees, and plants in city parks, and other large scale landscape projects.
- Assist driver with pulling hose across sites, traffic control, equipment maintenance, etc.
- Additional duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous labor experience in the outdoors is preferable
- Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) continuously through-out a 10 hour shift
- Own: Steel-toed safety shoes and hard hat
- Must provide your own transportation to and from the truck garage/base in Greely, ON
