Retail Store Manager- Regina
This position reports to the Retail Regional Manager for the successful delivery of the role.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Store Manager will be in an essential position in implementing and monitoring procedures to ensure adequate overall function of the store. The position will assist management in the development and implementation of procedures to further develop the processes surrounding store operations, training and management of staff.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Providing excellent customer service and assist customers with complaints to find a satisfactory resolution.
- Coordinate scheduling for all staff. Able to use hourly reports or other historical data to forecast scheduling needs while keeping within budget. (approx. 15-20 staff members)
- Daily communication with key staff in multiple departments on daily expectations or tasks
- Working with HR in the hiring and onboarding of all new staff members
- Training, mentoring, delegating and reviewing both new hires and existing staff members
- Enforcing staff policies and procedures and disciplining when necessary.
- Updating HR on staff events and seeking guidance or advice if unsure
- Completing hour approval, time off requests and documenting staff events in our HRIS system Rise
- Overseeing execution with all in store events and delegating as necessary (approx. 32 in a calendar year)
- Able to open and close the store as needed
- Ensure that we are compliant with all applicable SLGA regulations as needed
- Overseeing overall functions of inventory of the store including transfers, customer orders, counts and ensuring properly marked displays and communicating any issues with pricing to the appropriate channels.
- Responding to alarm calls, and communicating any issues with theft, shoplifting and building issues
- Making sure equipment is in working order and keeping up with supply orders if needed.
- Other duties as required.

- Proven leader and mentor
- MS Excel, MS Word, and HRIS experience.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.

- Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
