The Winery

What first started as a working barn and equipment storage unit hidden between the rows of Jagged Rock vineyard was later reimagined in a colourful way by world renowned architect, Tom Kundig, to create a commune of creativity for those who wish to sip inspiration. Red Barn, striking and stark, paves a pathway for those to wish to explore the uncharted and unknown with a crafted collection of rebellious, unoaked wines designed to disrupt the norm. Harnessing the greatness of South Okanagan terrain.

This is a place where classic meets the unconventional.

A Day in the Life of a Wine Ambassador:

• Greet visitors to the property and attend to their specific requirements in a friendly and helpful manner
• Communicate details of tours & experiences and wine shop offerings
• Maintain and organize guest reservations using TOCK system
• Conduct light housekeeping and promote overall cleanliness
• Clear and set tables as per fine dining standards, polish glassware and silverware, and prepare for guest service
• Assist with preparation of food pairing dishes for guests, charcuterie boards, etc.

Must haves:

• Current Serving it Right Certification
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Must be energetic, engaging, and authentic
• Passionate about delivering an exceptional experience
• Meet the physical requirements of the position including repetitively lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling weight up to 40lbs
• Previous wine education is an asset
