Job Overview:
Are you a tech enthusiast with a passion for solving complex technical problems? We are looking for a dynamic Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you'll play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth repair process for Mac & PC products.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for computer systems, software, and hardware issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals.
- Set up and troubleshoot network connections and printers.
- Respond to user inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve complex technical issues.
- Document and track all support activities in a ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow, Lightspeed or Connectwise)
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as software updates and system backups.
- Assist with the implementation of IT projects and initiatives.
- Stay up to date with the latest technology trends and advancements.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Solve technical problems presented by customers.
- Juggle customer and product issues with a sense of urgency.
- Follow detailed written repair and process instructions with ease.
- Manage a small parts inventory efficiently.
- Set customer expectations and communicate effectively throughout the repair process.
- Keep up to date with the latest products and stay informed about necessary technical implications.
- Work positively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be detail-oriented with the ability to write extensive case notes.
- Well-versed in troubleshooting/diagnosing software as well as hardware issues.
Qualifications:
- iOS and ACMT (Apple Certified Mac Technician) certifications are welcomed, but we can train.
- Lenovo technician certifications are welcomed.
- Must have a genuine passion for technology.
