About the role
Our growing team is looking for a Workday Software Developer!
As a Software Developer, you'll be part of a great team whose mandate is to support our Contact For You (Workday) human resources management system and constantly improve the application's functionality. We're looking for people who will propose innovative and creative ways to develop and deliver technical solutions. You must have a spirit of initiative and innovation and be able to steer ideas; from concept to implementation.
You must be interested in and motivated by learning Workday and cloud technologies.
This role is based in Montreal (5 days/week on a 35h basis) in the IT Human Resources team. We have a hybrid work formula that requires you to be in the office two (2) days a week.
What you'll do here:
Improve and/or develop functionalities to meet user needs by designing solutions, solving problems, producing estimates for the work to be done, programming, testing and documenting these.
Develop integrations with the application of use including the following types: Workday Studio, Core Connectors, API, EIB, etc. Must be able to design, develop, test and support these.
Participate and support our internal customers on current integrations and implementations.
Be involved in the developer community, participate in continuous improvement and promote best practices.
What you bring to the table:
Bachelor's degree or DEC in computer science or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
3 to 5 years' experience.
Self-motivated and driven to succeed.
Knowledge of Scrum methodology and DevOps practices.
Collaboration tools used at Intact: Jira, Confluence, Teams.
Understanding of the complete software implementation lifecycle.
Skills in integration technologies such as Web Services, XML, XSLT, Java, .Net or others.
Familiarity with Workday components. (HCM, EIB, RaaS, APIs, WD Connectors, WD Studio, WD Extend) - An asset.
Active certification of a Workday system - An asset.
Knowledge of Java and generic knowledge of SaaS systems or cloud technology - An asset.
Bilingualism required (French / English) - Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.
No Canadian work experience required, but must have authorization to work in Canada.
