The impact you will have:
As a Power Platform and M365 Developer, you will have the opportunity to assist our clients in the adoption of the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages, AI Builder, CoPilot Studio) at an enterprise level and to contribute to the growth of our Workplace AI Solutions Team. Bring your builder skills to help customers by evaluating customer requirements, developing applications, configuring Dataverse and integrating with various data sources. Softchoice enables our clients to succeed by developing solutions that help both commercial and government enterprises improve business results through modernization of processes, applications, and approaches to real-world business problems.
What you'll do:
- Guiding our clients on different ways to employ the Microsoft Power Platform to solve their current business needs while positioning them for future solutions.
- Using your exposure and knowledge of M365 for integration for Insights, Security, Data Engineering and Analytics.
- Collaborating with members of the development and architecture teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions that surpass client expectations while meeting deadlines and budgetary constraints.
- Developing solutions that follow best practices and methodologies to assure effective, maintainable solutions.
- Participate as an active member of discovery workshops, requirements gathering discussions, documentation and development.
- Training client end-users and junior members of the Softchoice staff on proper Power Platform development techniques including support for application lifecycle management.
- Learning new technologies, and improvements to current technologies, to assist in analyzing their impact on current and future implementations.
What you'll bring to the table:
- 5+ years deploying, and/or managing Microsoft 365 services.
- 5+ years deploying and/or managing Power Platform services.
- Development and deployment of multiple Power Platform projects to external organizations including Canvas Applications, Model Driven Applications and Power Automate solutions.
- Experience with Power Pages and its customization and deployment including knowledge of Bootstrap V5 and advanced CSS.
- Must have experience integrating Power Platform solutions with external systems, databases and APIs.
- Demonstrated experience for best practices of developing applications utilizing the platform.
- Understanding the various data connectors and their licensing model(s).
- Understanding of Power Platform governance and security concepts and how to implement them.
- Understanding of the Dataverse security models and their applications to support enterprise security requirements.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to include direct client interaction, training of client staff in the utilization of the platform tools, and the production of documentation.
- Strong interest in Microsoft Copilot and its integration with the M365 suite.
- Strong interest in the development of AI/ML powered data solutions that are integrated with M365 including utilization of AI Builder within the platform.
- You will have experience with one or more of the following languages: PowerShell, JavaScript, C#, HTML/CSS, SQL.
Desirable Skills
- Experience deploying and maintaining the Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE).
- Understanding the deployment and utilization of Power Automate Desktop RPA technologies.
- Experience with Azure services such as Azure Logic Apps and Azure Service Bus and understanding their roles in potential automation solutions.
- Experience developing PCF controls and their installation/configuration.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and its integration into the Power Platform.
- Experience in the development and management of multi-language applications and portals.
- Exposure to Microsoft Graph along with the data and services powered by it.
- Exposure to AI concepts including creation and utilization of custom models.
- Exposure to CoPilot Studio and its features and deployment.
- Exposure to Entra ID B2C and the ability to create custom policies associated with portal identoty management.
- Experiece architecting Microsoft 365/PowerPlatform services.
- The following certifications are a plus:
- PL-900 – Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals
- PL-100 – Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate
- PL-200 – Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate
- PL-400 – Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate
- AI-900 – Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals
