PHR is seeking an enthusiastic individual to fill the position of Youth Services Coordinator. Responsibilities include:
-Work with the Director of Youth Services to oversee the operations of all aspects of the Youth Services Program
-Work with the management team to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals for the organization and Youth Services Department
-Work with the management team to oversee Human Resources for the department, including but not limited to hiring, orientation, evaluation, scheduling and discipline
-Work with the Director of Youth Services to ensure staff comply with agency standards
-Ensure programs and services are aligned with strategic direction to advance the mission & vision of the organization
-Plan and monitor day-to-day operations of departments to ensure smooth operations
-Work with MSS and program staff to case plan and support families
-Keep accurate records of Incident Reports
-Regularly evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of organization procedures and systems within the department
-Report any incidents immediately to the Director of Youth Services
-Regularly review and revise department procedures to ensure standards are up to date
-Develop operational plans that promote long-term success and growth in the department
-Work with the management team to ensure the department on-call system is being managed and maintained including working on-call as per the determined schedule
-Provide direct support to youth who access services when required
-Work with MSS to coordinate appointments and medical care of youth
-Coordinate programming for youth
-Facilitate the growth and development of the youth residing in the homes and youth support workers in crisis management and crisis communication skills
