What is the opportunity?
In this role, you will focus on two areas critical to the success of solution delivery: (1) converting a problem statement to an execution ready solution , and (2) engaging with project participants to remediate any blockers. You will work with business stakeholders to make recommendations on potential solution and, in addition, you will help provide hands-on guidance on specific engagements.
What will you do?
- Collect, interpret and analyze requirements from business partners
- Understand the end state vision and the rationale behind it
- Closely collaborate with developers to understand, breakdown and deliver high-value initiatives
- Proactively work with business stakeholders to make recommendations on initiatives in which you are involved
- Track closely with delivery teams to ensure business goals and objectives are delivered
- Work closely and collaboratively with all areas of the Data Management Office
What do you need to succeed?
Candidates must be available for the entire 12-month term to be considered.
Must-have
- Actively enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution and will be returning back to school after completing the work term with us
- Good communication skills with facilitation and presentation experience
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite (specifically Excel and PowerPoint)
- Team player who can work with various teams and stakeholders
- Experience gathering requirements and analyzing proposals
- Good grasp of how to prepare a good presentation
Nice-to-have
- Experience breaking down complex projects into a simple-to-communicate manner
- Understanding of work management tools (Asana, Jira, Confluence, and the like)
