Job Description
What's the Opportunity?
- Work alongside our social media team in helping advisors create and refine their social media presence on LinkedIn and Facebook for Business, adhering to regulatory and compliance requirements
- Assist with increasing internal social media adoption, including creating documents and videos to help guide advisors
- Assist in actioning website requests from advisors including new website creations, minor website changes and working closely with our vendors to ensure timely developments and fixes of any bug-related issues
- Assist in the development of Salesforce Marketing Cloud email journeys and templates as part of an advisor's marketing mix
- Responsible for monitoring our leads email inbox to triage communications appropriately
- Assist with timely content creation and uploading within the social media middleware tool and website editor
- Assist with keyword research and analysis as required for ongoing SEO enhancements for advisor websites
- Work alongside our in-house creative agency in a range of initiatives including expanding our brand image gallery, conducting an ongoing competitive analysis and refining our brand building resources on our advisor intranet site
- Organize four advisor 'Lunch and Learn' sessions including booking guest speakers
What do you need to succeed?
Must have
- Education in Communications, Marketing/Business or a related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Skilled in project management; exemplary organizational skills with a keen eye for detail, excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects
- Business-minded with a passion for digital marketing and make a concerted effort to stay abreast of developments in our industry
- Natural problem solver and can think on your feet
Nice to have
- Experience with design programs (Adobe, Figma, etc.)
- Experience in Wealth Management
- Fluent in French (reading, writing, conversation)
Please note: This posting is for a 4 month Student placement with a start date of May 2024, and end date of August 2024. In order to be eligible for this 4-month Student position, you must either: be returning back to school after the work term end-date of August 2024 ; or if you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in August 2024), you must require the full 4-month work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.
