What is the opportunity?
The User Research & Insights team in Wealth Management Canada is seeking a User Research co-op to support a variety of research projects that inform digital product development and continuous improvement for our employees and clients.
What will you do?
- Support in conducting user research directly with users including observation, note taking and synthesis
- Support research operations: planning and executing research studies, enhancing the research insights repository and iterating tools, templates and educational material
- Synthesize research insights into summaries, presentations and Journey Maps
- Support in the planning and execution of Design Thinking workshops
- Work in partnership with product, design and change enablement teams
Must Have
- Currently enrolled at a Canadian post-secondary institution with a focus on User Experience, Research, Service Design, Social Sciences, Anthropology Humanities, Psychology or related discipline
- Experience in qualitative research methods
- Excellent interpersonal and highly developed communication skills (verbal and written)
- Familiar with or interest to learn Design Thinking
- Self-starter, capable of working in a fast paced environment
- Critical thinker and problem solver who has a collaborative approach
- Skilled in MS Office and Mural (or similar software)
Nice-to-have
- Graduate Degree
- Expertise in quantitative methods or analytics
- Experience in the financial sector

Candidates should be able to work in our downtown Toronto office at least 3 days a week.
Please note: This posting is for a 4 month student placement with a start date of May 2024, and end date in August 2024. In order to be eligible for this 4-month student position, you must either: be returning back to school after the work term end-date of August 2024 ; or if you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in August 2024), you must require the full 4-month work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.
