The Opportunity
Reporting to the Director of Sales, we are searching for an Account Manager, Affiliates, to help accelerate Carbon6’s Affiliate Program. As an Account Manager, Affiliates, you'll play a pivotal role in fostering relationships with our valued clients and optimizing our affiliate programs for maximum performance and revenue generation. Your Impact

  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing affiliates, ensuring their ongoing success and serving as their primary point of contact
  • Business Development: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to maximize revenue potential. Provide exceptional deal support and negotiation expertise for both new and existing affiliates. Foster cross-functional collaboration to deliver value and exceed affiliates expectations.
  • Affiliate Program Management: Lead the development of a comprehensive affiliate strategy alongside the sales leadership team. Identify and prospect potential affiliates, evaluating their suitability for strategic collaboration. Continuously assess market trends and industry landscapes to uncover new affiliate opportunities.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of affiliate campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Marketing, Product Marketing, and Finance, and ensure synergy across teams. Act as a bridge between departments, fostering communication and understanding of shared goals. Implement strategies that enhance collaboration and drive collective success.

Your Qualifications

  • Proven Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a sales, account management or partnerships/affiliates role in a high-growth scaleup ideally with SaaS and/or ecommerce/marketplace industry experience. Bonus points if you have Amazon experience.
  • Revenue Generation: You have a consistent over-performance track record of building strong, value-add relationships with customers and have been able to grow a book of business in a high-volume environment.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: You are highly driven and motivated to help our clients and affiliates succeed, and are thinking outside the box of creative ways to build up a world class affiliate program while fostering long-term relationships that are mutually beneficial.
  • Strategic Thinking: You have a knack for seeing the bigger picture and understand how individual components interact to form a whole. At the same time, you can also foresee the downstream impacts of decisions made today and you use these to inform your approach on affiliate opportunities.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Management: You possess exemplary communication skills, with the ability to articulate affiliate objectives, goals and expectations. You’re able to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels, and are equally eloquent and comfortable communicating in writing, in person, and when speaking to various stakeholders. You can always lead a discussion to an outcome, no matter how many people and different opinions are in the room.
  • Data Analysis: You are highly analytical and able to interpret data to derive actionable insights and inform decision-making.
