This role is primarily work from home but will require travel to client sites as needed.
Job Description:
Reporting to the Sales Director, the Account Manager will be responsible for executing retention plans and securing customer contracts by developing and implementing sound prospecting and retention strategies during face to face and virtual meetings.
Responsibilities:
- Nurture business relationships with current accounts in your region
- Management of the day-to-day issues and tasks for current accounts
- Delegate and liaison with Customer Care team
- Responsible for all account changes/modifications
- Information collection and site visits
- Identify opportunities within current book of business
- Assist in the implementation of new programs for clients
- Present new future opportunities to accounts
- Visit prospective clients to evaluate needs and/or promote products and services
- Collect pertinent information from prospective clients
- Preparation, negotiation, and execution of service agreements
- Meet or exceed new business and retention goals and targets
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in Account Management (preferred)
- 3+ years experience in the Waste and Recycling Industry (preferred)
