Gangster Enterprises Ltd is looking for an Accountant to join our team and assist in the day-to-day operations of our head office located in Calgary, AB.
Gangster Enterprises Ltd is a leader in supplying Rig Water and Vacuum Truck services to the Alberta Oilfield Industry. We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join our team.

Rate of pay negotiable and dependent on applicant’s experience.

Responsibilities:

· Assist in the day-to-day operations of our Calgary Office including accounting, administrative, and financial tasks

· Assist with budgeting and forecasting, which involves estimating the company's future financial performance and planning for future expenses and investments

· Responsible for reconciling bank statements and credit card statements to ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded

· Process and record accounts receivable and accounts payable

· Prepare and submit payroll

· Responsible for adhering to Government regulations for payroll in the Transportation/Oil and Gas Sector

· Responsible for entering financial data into accounting software or Company software accurately and efficiently

· Other duties not listed as assigned by the upper management on an ad hoc basis

Applicants must possess:

· Must have a post-secondary degree in a related field (i.e., Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting or Finance)

· 2-3+ years of full cycle accounting experience

· Experience with Payroll and Accounts Receivable / Payables required.

· Experience with Simply Accounting (Sage 50) required.

· Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook); expert Excel skills.is required.

· Previous Experience in the Trucking and/or Oil and Gas Service Industry would be considered an asset.

Salary: From $25.00 - 40.00 per hour – based on knowledge and experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
