ACCOUNTING CLERK
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the accounting department.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
- Post monthly journal entries
- Prepare daily deposits in our system
- Prepare GST, HST and QST reports
- Assist in the month-end, quarter-end and year-end closings
- Assist in the preparation of year-end files
- Perform other related tasks for the department
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word)
- Fluency in English and in French
