The Opportunity
At Duliban Insurance Brokers we are not your average broker - we utilize technology in a team environment to provide real-time service to our valued clients. Under the direction of the CFO, the Accounting Intern is tasked with assisting in high level accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, data entry and reporting. The Accounting Intern will also assist in various administrative duties on behalf of the Human Resources Department.
Primary Responsibilities
• Record transactions into accounting records, building and customizing reports
• Provide assistance with AP and AR functions
• Verify data to sourcing documents
• Summarize data and report on findings
• Develop spreadsheets to assist with streamlining processes
• Support in the preparation of reconciliations and bill payments
• Work with the HR Leader on a variety of administrative processes
• Scan documents and record in appropriate e-files
• Adherence to all company health and safety policies
• Perform related duties as assigned
