Our Client: Highly reputable and growing professional services l aw firm is seeking an experienced CPA designated Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of their firm. The successful candidate will work closely with the Partners, guiding and assisting in various aspects of firm management, including finance, accounting, operations, and human resources.
Key Responsibilities:
Finance and Accounting:

• Supervise Administrative and Accounting Departments
• Maintain and manage financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems
• Ensure prompt turnaround and collection of all accounts receivable
• Provide monthly financial reports to Partners
• Prepare documentation for year-end accounting, audits, and ad hoc reports
• Analyze expenditures and provide budgeting recommendations
• Manage corporate information, registrations, tax programs, and Law Society requirements

Operations and Office Security:

• Establish and maintain office operating policies, maintenance schedules, and procedures
• Maintain and operate office security systems
• Manage employee records and manage direct staff
• Coordinate with external insurance providers and IT department

Qualifications and Skills:

• CPA Designation Required
• Minimum of 5 years of office/accounting management experience in a Law Firm
• Experience in Quickbooks Online a must
• Experience in accounting processes, financial reporting, and audit preparation
• Knowledge of facilities management
• Strong leadership skills and ability to drive projects to successful outcomes
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Financial acumen and proficiency in IT systems and technology
• On-site support required 5 days a week
