If this appeals to you, the Armstrong Land Corp. is looking for the right individual to take on the full-time position of Accounting Technician at our office in Armstrong, BC. This position will report directly to the Controller.
Key Roles:
· Financial statement preparation support for multiple companies in the group
· Monthly roll-over and updating of preparation files in Excel
· Data entry, including journal entries
· Bank reconciliation support
· Accounts payable support – payment runs done twice a month
· Accounts receivable support
· Managing front desk, office administration, prepare bank payments, etc.
· Other projects/reconciliations as assigned – assisting Property Manager and/or Controller
Qualifications:
· Experience with office administration, computerized accounting software like Sage 300 would be an asset
· Solid understanding of accounting practices and processes with previous experience
· Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
· GST/PST filing experience is an asset
· Thrive in a fast-paced, varied role with shifting priorities
· Be self-motivated
· Demonstrate effective communication skills & positive attitude
· The successful candidate will also be organized, enjoy challenging work & problem solving, and able to work in a team environment.
What we offer:
· Competitive compensation, expected salary range to start would be $45,000 to $58,000 annually depending on experience and fit
