Hello, I am Jinane, Recruitment and Business Development Advisor at Fed Finance, a recruitment agency specializing in accounting, finance, and payroll positions. I handle two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent in the Greater Montreal area.
I am currently searching, on behalf of my client, a company located on the East end of Montreal, for an Accounts Payable Manager. This is a permanent position on site.
The Trade Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for making sure that all Trade related vendors are paid both timely and accurately. The Trade Accounts Payable Manager has a team of Accounts Payable Clerks and Analysts responsible for the payment of scrap metal materials and freight charges.
Your responsabilities:
* Go-to resource for all purchasing and Trade Accounts Payable related issues and inquiries.
* Monitor and expedite the purchasing of scrap materials and processing of accruals with various stakeholders (Traders, Finance, Contracts Team)
* Ensuring we are fulfilling AIM's commercial terms to our vendors / customers.
* Report and follow-up on unpurchased scrap with various stakeholders
* Act as a key support individual to the purchasing team
* Participates and act on process improvement initiatives.
* Review payments and associated backup prior to approval by finance

* A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills
* Proven leadership ability with experience managing change and motivating staff
* Some knowledge of identifying metal alloys is considered an asset, but not required
* College or University degree with a focus onin Accounting or Administration is required
