Summary:
Reporting to the Controller and working out of the Point Tupper Terminal, the Administrative Analyst / Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for various administrative and accounting support duties. This includes, but is not limited to, Accounts Payable and receivable as well as supporting and providing backup to purchasing.
Education and Experience Requirement:
- Completion of a post-secondary education in a related discipline is an asset
- A minimum of 2 years of administrative and Accounts Payable experience
- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal, written communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- SAP experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to proof work for accuracy
Major Accountabilities:
- Provide support in accounting activities related to Accounts Payable as well as month end and year end procedures
- Process Accounts Payable and assist in resolving invoice issues
- Coordinate vendor administration and the set-up of vendor accounts
- Act as backup for purchasing role which includes preparing purchase orders
- Prepare and maintain reports, databases, spreadsheets, and files
- Ensure accounting and administrative compliance with EverWind policies and procedures
- Assist with internal and regulatory agency audits to ensure the Company is compliant in all aspects
- Provide administrative support to the Project Development Team when needed
- Participate in the EverWind Process Safety Management System
- Participate in Oil Spill Preparedness exercises
- Perform other duties as required
