THE ROLE

The Root Cellar’s Marketing Team is seeking a roll-up-your-sleeves, task-oriented Assistant to join them ASAP! As part of this team, you will be responsible for providing support to both marketing and day to day operations, coming to work each day as a reliable and efficient team player. You will have the ability to blend with the energy of the team as it flows from energetic to heads-down focused. The person joining our team will be a passionate individual committed to what is right, not what is easy and who embodies our values of Integrity, Sustainability, Sunshine, and Innovation.

  • Assist with database maintenance, analytics and reporting.
  • Support the ordering of office and uniform supplies.
  • Prepare in-store signage, labels and documents.
  • Run errands/Pick up supplies.
  • Coordinate in-store demo programs and online contest activities to enhance the customer experience.
  • Process online orders and manage customer emails and phone calls, ensuring timely response and delivery.
  • Prepare charitable donations, coordinate delivery and represent the company at community events.
  • Have fun doing it!

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

  • Certificate in Business or Office Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 1 - 2 years administrative experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, as well as knowledge of G Suite (Google Forms, Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Word Press, Mail Chimp are assets but not necessary.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • A positive, friendly attitude and be willing to have fun!
  • Must have valid drivers license and mode of transportation.
