Sun West School Division invites applications for anAdministrative Assistantin the Sun West School Division Office, Rosetown, SK. This is a permanent position, 37.5 hours per weekstarting as soon as possible.
The successful applicant, as part of the Sun WestSchool Divisionteam, will provide confidential administrative support for division level senior administration. Applicants with strong technology skills, including proficiency inMicrosoft Officeand Social Media platforms, are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate must have the ability to prioritize to meet deadlines, work effectively as a team member as well as independently, learn a variety of software platforms, communicate effectively, problem solve, multi-task, and organize a varied workload.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to Superintendents, Managers, Supervisors and others.
Preparing documents in Microsoft Word, Excel, data entry, preparing correspondence, report creation, general filing and other office duties as directed.
Handlegeneralinquiries anddirects communication as appropriate.
Provideassistance to employees, parents, and members of the public.
The successful applicant will possess the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to effectively fulfill the duties of Administrative Assistant. Completion of aDiploma or certificateinOffice Administration or other related training and experience will be considered an asset.
