Boro Frigon Gordon Jones is a criminal law firm in Montréal. We work in a modern office setting in the heart of the Montreal's Old Port. We have a mix of experienced and up-and-coming lawyers striving to defend our clients to the fullest.
DUTIES:
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person
- Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock and ordering new supplies as needed
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, letters and faxes
- Maintain a filing system for easy retrieval of documents
- Perform data entry tasks and update databases with accurate information
- Assist staff with preparation of presentations and legal filings
EXPERIENCE:
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or relevant role
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and staff members
- Familiarity with front desk operations and phone systems
- Knowledge of basic office procedures and equipment
- Experience working in a legal office setting is a plus
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or other accounting software is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
