RECEPTIONIST:
Cornwall Dental Clinic is seeking a professional, energetic, and friendly receptionist to work our front desk and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks.
As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clinic. The successful candidate should have a pleasant personality as this is also a customer service role.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice.
- Ensure patient receive personal attention in a timely professional manner.
- Ensure that all appropriate forms are completed prior to client receiving service.
- Attached forms to electronic dental chart ready for all dental providers.
- Assisting patients to fill out information forms.
- Create proper documentation, adding a signature to interactions with patients to facilitate proper follow-up among staff.
- Schedule, re-schedule appointments as needed, Fill cancellations and no-show openings.
- Call patient to confirm the following day's appointment.
- Ensure patients have the correct dental insurance providers and number on file.
- Verify methods of payment and collecting payments as needed. Record and balance cash and receipts daily.
- Performing general office duties such as answering multi-line telephones, photocopying, filing, faxing, scanning, sorting and sending forms.
- Organize and manage referrals to specialist including managing lab work request.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Dentists, Office Manager and Clinical Manager.

- Knowledge of Dentrix an asset but one-on one training is provided.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
