The Administrative Support Assistant is responsible for a broad range of duties associated with administrative and clerical tasks.
Essential Knowledge Aptitudes and Skills:
Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently while also collaborating in a team environment.
Proficiency in office software (e.g., MS Office, Excel) and administrative systems.
Experience in handling administrative duties such as correspondence, and document management.
Have a working knowledge of employment standards.
Analytical and critical thinking skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Interact in professional and welcoming manner.
Post Secondary Education in a relevant field is an asset.
Core Responsibilities:
Provide general office support including managing supplies, inventory management and liaising with vendors.
Maintain filing and documentation (i.e. personnel, financial etc.) .
Provide feedback on efficiencies.
Assist in the preparation of correspondence, forms, reports and presentations as needed.
Perform data entry tasks (database, timecards), including updating and maintaining databases.
Post employment opportunities.
Prepare invoices for accounts payable/receivable.
Salary: ranges from $19.66-$21.59 per hour with 6% in lieu of vacation. Employees have the opportunity to join the Hospitals of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP.) All employees also have access to a confidential Employee Assistance Program.
