We are looking for a full time Administrator to join our team!
Direction received from / Reporting to: Executive Director- Jennifer Hyde
Position Summary and Purpose:
The Administrator is the first point of contact for our guests. He / She oversees all reception responsibilities, along with acting in a supportive role to the Executive Director. Must be comfortable and have a passion for assisting those experiencing homelessness, addiction and/or mental health challenges.
Educational and Experiential Qualifications:
Education:
Degree in Business Administration, social work, or have equivalent experience
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Ability to empathize with people in difficult situations
- Ability to work well with people from different backgrounds and cultures
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Friendly and professional
Experience:
-Reception, customer service or administration
-Social Media experience preferred
-Proficient computer/email skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all reception duties including front desk, phones, email and social media inquiries
- Refer guests to appropriate staff member for further assistance when needed
- Assist with lease and rental agreements
- Assist with volunteer scheduling
- Provide administrative assistance to Executive Director
- Point of contact for the public looking to make donations, tour the facility etc.
- Point of contact for guests requiring immediate care and assistance

-The Administrator must agree to and consistently model the values and Faith Summary of Leamington Community Hope Centre and maintain active involvement in a local community of faith.
-Must be able to analyze situations, and implement best solutions.
-Must be able to deal effectively with board members, partners, team members, service providers, guests, and the public.
-Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Accountable to ensure administrative requirements are completed.
-Consistently make decisions that will foster the improvement of people's lives and assist with providing the help required in various situations.
-Support vision, mission, and values, as well as the organizational philosophy of Leamington Community Hope Centre and model expected behavior for others.
-Encourage and promote teamwork and a culture of mutual respect, understanding, and cooperation.
-Demonstrate servant leadership while working with volunteers.
-Assist with all operational requirements as needed.
-Support team members as required to help address challenges as they arise.
-Assist with fundraising activities.
-Must be able to organize and plan activities/responsibilities providing timely results.
