What is the opportunity?
Provide administrative support to two head office teams within RBC Royal Trust. Provide general administrative support to team members on a day-to-day activities as well as assist with broader projects and initiatives.
What will you do?
- Provide general team administrative support to National Initiatives and Professional Practice Group (PPG) teams including the coordination of Power of Attorney updates, fee agreement updates, restrictive covenants and mortgage discharges
- Support team members in the preparation and formatting of presentations, articles, etc.
- Coordinate logistics for team meetings, conferences, etc
- Co-ordinate and manage reporting on litigation from across Canada for Compliance and Principal Trust Specialist
- Provide administrative support to Manager, Real Estate for the following activities: Management of a Real Estate Database; Manage payment of insurance premiums; Manage payment of property taxes; Administration of vacancy tax (BC, ONT)
- Retrieve and provide all RT transit managers with their Distribution History Report (DHR) for their review and approval.
- Coordinate the payment of invoices through Accounts Payable system for various National office units
- Coordinate Translation activities on behalf of teams
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have
- 3-5 Years providing administrative support
- Post-secondary education or equivalent
- Excellent written/verbal/electronic communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with others and perceived as a professional business partner
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe applications
- Exhibits sound judgement and decision-making abilities
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with legal terminology
- Fluency in French desirable
