About Mount Milligan MineLocated approximately 155 kilometres northwest of Prince George in central BC, the Mount Milligan Mine is a conventional truck-shovel open-pit copper and gold mine and concentrator with a 60,000 tpd capacity copper flotation processing plant.
Mount Milligan operates with comfortable camp accommodations equipped with private washrooms, TV, Wi-Fi, an onsite gym, and other recreational activities. Bus transportation to and from site is provided free of charge from several locations within the region.
Mount Milligan promotes a drug and alcohol-free workplace and has adopted a zero-tolerance policy with respect to alcohol or unauthorized drugs on site.
About the OpportunityWe have an opportunity for a full-time Administrator, Site Services to join our Mount Milligan Mine operations site. This is a 12 Month Fixed Term to cover a maternity leave.
This is a camp-based position with a schedule of 4 days of work and 3 days of rest, 10 hours days.
Reporting to the Supervisor, Executive Assistant, you will be responsible for providing clerical/administrative support and planning & scheduling functions to the Site Services Department.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Recording and maintaining safety meeting minutes and distributing follow-up actions
- Tracking and reporting Department related data and maintaining various databases
- Assisting with basic payroll and time & attendance activities, including contractors
- Maintaining training and Learning Management System records
- Developing and maintaining filing systems
- Reviewing work requests daily, creating work orders and scheduling work as needed
- In conjunction with the GF, developing and tracking the execution of Site Services schedules
- Creating, managing, and updating Mine Point standard job and PM templates
- Developing stock reservations, non-stock requisitions and new stock requests as required
- Assisting in the planning and scheduling of resources for external projects for maximum efficiency
- Collaborating with the project management steps for internal projects and scheduling the work accordingly
- Performing other duties as required by the Site Services Department
To qualify, you will need 1-2 years of similar office experience. Experience in the mining industry is a strong asset.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products i.e., Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent organization skills with a high degree of accuracy
- Proven ability to work within a variety of time frames and multi-task
- Willing to work with many different personalities and work styles
