QUALIFICATIONS:
- College Diploma in Office Administration, Business or related field or equivalent education
- Minimum of three years related work experience, preferably in a post-secondary setting
- Minimum of three years experience working with a student information system and its integrations; Banner experience is preferred
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills; experience providing professional support to diverse client groups
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks simultaneously
- Sound judgment and problem solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of integrated student information systems such as Argos, TouchNet cashiering system, and ONE-key Portal
- Must demonstrate proficiency with computer and office technology
DUTIES:
- Under the direction of the Manager of Admissions and Liaison, the incumbent processes postsecondary program applications, implements and monitors registration procedures, maintains and audits student records, and analyzes student files in support of graduation eligibility
- Provides customer service to prospects, applicants, current students, and general public.
- Work with and provide support and relevant information to various partners
- Composes and completes responses to specific admission related requests e.g. confirmation of enrolment in full time studies, fees paid, letters for sponsors or agencies, and forms such as Canada Pension eligibility and Educational Plans
- Processes student payments using the College’s systems, assures accuracy on the student’s account, and reconciles payments
- Regular use of admissions office productivity tools, examples include: Banner, Touchnet, Argos, ONE-key, and the OCAS application portal
- Provides technical support for student’s self-service account such as resetting passwords to enable student to login in to access grades, account information and tax forms
- This position is key “front line” support to the college’s enrolment management strategy
