Aesthetician / Medical Aesthetician

Orillia's 1st med spa, the Anti-Aging Clinic is celebrating 25 years this December & we are expanding and looking for an aesthetician to join our multi-award winning team.

This particular position does not require medical aesthetics training however it is an asset. Those with general aesthetic facial certification may also apply as specific training will be provided for the position. Recent graduates also welcomed to apply!

Responsibilities:

- Provide professional aesthetic treatments to patients.

- Assist with procedures daily by providing patient comfort during painful treatments.

- Offer exceptional patient services by ensuring a welcoming, comfortable, private & safe environment.

- Conduct product demonstrations & provide recommendations to patients for at-home skincare products.

• Upsell additional services & retail products to enhance the patient experience & increase revenue.
• Must be comfortable working with aesthetic devices.
• Must be mature, motivated & reliable.
• Perform one-on-one expert treatments with patients, promote & recommend appropriate treatment plan, upsell additional treatments & products & deliver exceptional results.
• Actively promote & sell memberships to new patients & upsell treatments to existing ones.
• Trained & certified in aesthetic services including but not limited to IPL hair removal, photo-facial, chemical peel, micro-needling, non-surgical lifting, radio frequency, electroporation, needle-free mesotherapy, LED, ultrasound etc. *Training may be provided for the correct candidate.
• Recommend, demonstrate & sell skincare products depending upon customer’s specific requirements & skin conditions.
• Ensure consent forms are complete before performing any treatment
• Maintain strict confidentiality
• Ensure complete patient satisfaction
• Adhere to hygiene, sanitation, safety & infection control guidelines & standards
• Maintain a high standard of clinic cleanliness, ensure all work surfaces, equipments & are cleaned as per safety & sanitary guidelines
• Attend Clinic’s meetings & trainings as well as commit to outside continued education
• Track/manage your inventory including all clinic products, supplies & brochures ensuring stock levels are maintained & recorded.
• Complete daily checklist of cleaning obligations.
• Maintain a positive & professional attitude, welcoming colleagues & patients.
• Professional appearance to be aesthetically pleasing with emphasis on personal hygiene & grooming.
• Scrubs (in solid colour) are to be worn at all times. No personal jewelry to be worn (when using EBDs.
• Participate in all aspects of marketing/social media events related to treatment/product videography, still photography, social media promotion for patient acquisition & content delivery
• Ensure daily operations runs smoothly
• Maintain a professional relationship at work with patients respecting privacy & clinic protocols
• Follow all clinic protocols

Experience:

• Medical Aesthetician training is an asset but not necessary for this position.
• Previous experience as an aesthetician, Medical Aesthetician is preferred.

- Knowledge of various aesthetic techniques & treatments.

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.

- Excellent communication skills to effectively explain procedures & provide product recommendations.

- Ability to use industry related apps *training will be provided.

- Ability to multitask & prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.

- Good hand-eye coordination & eyesight are required for this position.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Salary: $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
