After School Children's Program Instructor (Mondays)

Explore It! (www.ExploreItAll.ca) is looking for Toronto based Instructors to assist us in providing after-school programming to young children in elementary schools in Toronto. We provide everything you need so you can focus on having fun with the students! Our roster of long-time Instructors LOVE working for us - see their profiles on our web site.

• You MUST have relevant experience working with young children between the ages of 5 and 12. You should have a child focused background of mentoring, teaching, coaching and/or as a camp counsellor.
• Candidates for Instructor positions MUST be available to teach classes after-school (i.e. 3 to 5pm) in the City of Toronto. Most Instructors work 1-2 classes per week.
• You MUST be available on Mondays after-school from January to March, ideally in the Lawrence Park area.
• New Instructors have the opportunity to be mentored by our current team in a variety of enjoyable subject areas such as Science & Exploration, Culinary Arts, Visual Arts & Crafts, Lego Building and more.
• The Toronto elementary schools we partner with are centrally located and TTC accessible. You must be able to travel to schools within the City of Toronto each week.
• You will need to pass a Police Background Check and provide a Toronto Police Vulnerable Sectors Screening. We will assist in this process.

Salary: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
