Agri-Business Dealing Representative

Genesis Fertilizers LP (Genesis) is a unique farmer-owned fertilizer production and distribution company representing producers across Canada. Genesis is moving forward with a robust business plan to build a world-class nitrogen fertilizer plant together with a network of regional distribution SuperCenters across Western Canada.

Genesis is structured on a foundation of user ownership, ensuring that the farmer-owners maintain control in one of their most significant inputs, fertilizer, and realize all the benefits of direct ownership throughout the value chain.

Our business is growing and we are looking to add multiple position's throughout London & Guelph ON and Edmonton AB area. We are searching for individuals who understand farming, understand business and understand the basic principles of investing long-term in highly valuable assets.

THE ROLE

Your responsibility will be to interact with farmers within your territory and professionally present the current business plan to ensure that each prospective investor has the information to understand their investment opportunity and realize the potential of a world class nitrogen plant together with strategically located distribution SuperCenters.

In your position of Dealing Representative, you will:

• Be fully competent to present the Genesis business plan and offering
• Have completed or be able to complete the Exempt Market Dealing Representative Course
• Manage your territory in an efficient manner
• Be proficient in completing standardized forms
• Hold a valid driver’s license and possess clean drivers abstract
• Operate a reliable vehicle suitable for rural roads, you will be provided with a company vehicle
• Work flexible hours
• Be able to spend time overnight away from home

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3 + years in sales and territory management experience
• Current or prior registration as a Dealing Representative or advising representative under securities laws
• Experience in agri-business operations
• Ability to present business investment proposals into a compelling message
