FUNCTION & DUTIES:
· Responsible for overseeing user account lifecycle management, allocation licences and subscription, and configuring user roles and permission across the organization while also conducting access reviews to ensure appropriate access levels are maintained.
· Lead the deployment and ongoing management of SharePoint Online, emphasizing the strategic setup of user roles, enhancing file sharing capabilities, and ensuring the seamless integration with collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and OneDrive for Business. This includes fulfilling all essential duties of a SharePoint Administrator to guarantee robust, secure, and effective document and intranet service management.
· Work closely with different departments to identify their needs related to SharePoint, File sharing, and Office 365 projects, and suggest tailored solutions based on their feedback. Additionally, focus on creating detailed documentation specifically for these projects as a core duty.
· Implement and oversee comprehensive security measures across all Office 365 applications to safeguard data.
· Manage compliance settings, including data loss prevention (DLP), retention policies, and eDiscovery, while also regularly reviewing and auditing Office 365 security and compliance configurations to uphold the highest standards of data integrity and privacy.
· Administer Exchange Online, overseeing mailbox migrations, establishing mail flow rules, and ensuring the effectiveness of email security features, including anti-spam and anti-malware settings, alongside configuring, and maintaining email archiving and retention policies.
· Configure and manage Microsoft Teams settings for meetings, live events, and calling policies, ensuring a collaborative and productive work environment.
· Provide advanced level support for complex issues beyond the scope of the first-line support team, demonstrating exceptional problem-solving skills.
· Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive documentation on Office 365 procedures, configurations, and best practices to support the organization's knowledge base.
· Develop and enforce organizational policies for the use of Office 365 services, working closely with various departments to ensure governance aligns with business needs and compliance requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Undergraduate degree in computer science or in a field related to the position.
The Board may, at its discretion, waive any or all of the aforementioned qualifications if it finds a suitable candidate who is a beneficiary of the James Bay and Northern Québec Agreement (JBNQA) and who accepts, as a condition of employment, to follow a training plan determined by the Board.
