WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
In this role, the individual will be tasked to resolve pain points and seek efficiencies in the engagement between segment IT delivery teams and their suppliers. To do this, the individual will; represent delivery teams and coordinate cross functional stakeholders to draw insights into the relationship between delivery teams and their suppliers by building and maintaining reporting analytics, governance controls, contract management, and tracking and reporting overall segment spend against Professional Fees and annual budget.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Reporting, Analytics and Financial Management
- Control Dashboard and monitoring
- Spend to budget analysis following Product model
- Invoice processing and monitoring to ensure timely payment
- Provide consulting on negotiation of small-medium contracts
- Analysis of supplier proposals, Business cases, and financial management during RFx
- Establish the metrics, reporting and accountability guidelines for supplier management
- Support the monitoring of supplier’s monthly performance against established service level commitments and client expectations, documenting and following up on action items.
Relationships & Communication
- Provides superior client experience and strengthens relationships with business partners
- Collaborates with colleagues across WMTS, suppliers, T&O Finance and other T&O areas
- Manages project communications including status reports to all stakeholders
- Provides senior management with timely updates on all issues and status
- Communicates best practices across all supplier delivery functions, contracts, service levels and pricing
Organizational Change Management
- Create and execute on processes and controls for Supplier Management to adhere with governance standards and execute within WMTS
- Identify opportunities for process/governance efficiencies and implement changes within WMTS
- Host forums with PDO and Contract Owners to increase Awareness, Desire and Knowledge of emerging strategies and governance processes
- Enable the Ability of the delivery teams to adopt new strategies by fielding questions and/or hosting workshops
- Reinforce the adoption of new strategies by reporting on progress and sharing with senior leadership
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Must have:
- Undergraduate degree
- 2-4 years experience
- Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills along with strong presentation skills.
- Strong organizational, project management and time management capabilities.
- Analytics, reporting, and financial management skills
Nice-to-have:
- Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across functions and businesses
