POSITION SUMMARY:

MasTec Canada is currently accepting resumes from Bonnyville and surrounding areas, for the following positions:

• Journeyman Pipefitters
• Apprentice Pipefitters

Anticipated start date, middle of January, 2024 to assist in execution of current active projects. There is a potential for longer term work pending successful future project awards.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Major Project Facility experience in SAGD
• Measuring and installation of piping and structural steel
• Cutting and capping pile for pipe racks, buildings and various equipment
• Steam generator, IGF, ORF, exchanger and pump experience would be an asset
• First Aid
• H2S Alive
• CSTS
• CSO
• Fall Arrest

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Take reasonable care of your own and others’ health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for promoting and living out MasTec Canada’s 6 Core Values
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license is required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid Safety Tickets
• Ability to identify and report hazards
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
• Effective attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules

Work Location: In person
