POSITION SUMMARY:
MasTec Canada is currently accepting resumes from Bonnyville and surrounding areas, for the following positions:
- Journeyman Pipefitters
- Apprentice Pipefitters
Anticipated start date, middle of January, 2024 to assist in execution of current active projects. There is a potential for longer term work pending successful future project awards.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Major Project Facility experience in SAGD
- Measuring and installation of piping and structural steel
- Cutting and capping pile for pipe racks, buildings and various equipment
- Steam generator, IGF, ORF, exchanger and pump experience would be an asset
- First Aid
- H2S Alive
- CSTS
- CSO
- Fall Arrest
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Take reasonable care of your own and others’ health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for promoting and living out MasTec Canada’s 6 Core Values
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license is required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid Safety Tickets
- Ability to identify and report hazards
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
- Effective attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules
