Minimum Level of Education: Registered Journeyperson/Registered 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice
Years of Related Experience: 3-5
Locations to be Supported: Multiple projects/areas
Shift: 10hrs/day (10/4 or 14/7)
LOA: Depending on project (must be approved based on residency)

Position Summary
We are seeking Four (4) Electrical Journeypersons & Six (6 ) Apprentices (3rd/4th Year) to support and be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the successful implementation and completion of project a demolition project in the Whitecourt area. The successful candidates will report to the electrical foreman/general foreman.
Other responsibilities include:
- Reading & interpreting electrical/architectural drawings and electrical code specification.
- Pulling cables and cable tray installation.
- Wiring lighting fixtures, plugs, switches, control panels.
- Performing medium voltage terminations.
- Testing circuits to ensure integrity and safety.
- Troubleshooting and fixing defective circuits.
- Certified Journeyperson or Registered Apprentice Electrician.
- 3 years or more experience in oil 7 gas/industrial.
- Previous oil and construction industry experience
- Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions.
- Attention to detail and the ability to meet quality standards.
- Self-starter requiring minimal supervision with the ability to multitask and define properties.
- Strong communicator & able to understand instructions and communicate effectively.
- Good understanding of the Canadian Electrical Code. FSR-B is an asset.
- Well organized, team player, strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing.
