Bee-Clean Building Maintenance is seeking a highly motivated and organized Area Manager to join our team in Southwestern Ontario. As an Area Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing janitorial services for a diverse portfolio of national and regional clients. Your exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple contracts and work scopes will ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and client satisfaction.
While there is a certain amount of administrative work involved, the majority of the job entails being in the field/on the road. It should be noted that a territory may cover up to 100km radius.
Our SWO office is located in London, Ontario. However, we are actively seeking candidates from across the Southwestern Ontario region.
Responsibilities:
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients, serving as their primary point of contact
- Effectively manage labor and supply budgets
- Lead and supervise an in-house team, including hiring, training, and providing ongoing guidance and support
- Source and manage sub-contractors
- Facilitate equipment ordering, maintenance, and repair
- Oversee supply ordering and management to ensure adequate inventory levels and timely replenishment
- Accurately process and manage payroll in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections to monitor service quality and address any areas requiring improvement
- Uphold and promote a strong health and safety culture, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the cleaning industry, demonstrating a deep understanding of industry best practices and standards
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks and responsibilities
- Strong leadership capabilities and a proven track record of successfully managing a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to establish and maintain positive relationships with clients and staff
- Self-motivated and reliable, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work
