Job description

The Assistant Client Care Manager is a critical hands-on role that ensures new homeowner satisfaction by providing exceptional attention to detail through both the new home occupancy and Spring Creek warranty processes. The Assistant Client Care Manager, as a representative of Spring Creek, ensures that the highest quality of product and service are delivered, in as timely a manner as possible and is representative of Spring Creek standards.

The Assistant Client Care Manager assists with the training and supervision of the Client Care team. The Assistant Client Care Manager works closely with the Client Care Administrator to create an effective maintenance/service/detail, for homes and various Spring Creek business.

The role demands clear and efficient communication with the homeowners, the Spring Creek construction team, Condo Boards and contractors while providing effective management of the detailing and Client Care team.

REQUIREMENTS

The Assistant Client Care Manager must have a well-rounded knowledge of construction and an eye for detail with a background in the construction, renovation industry or an associated trade. The person in this role must have proven technical skills (some plumbing, carpentry, drywall, etc.), and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This position calls for someone who is fully computer literate.

DUTIES

Prepare all suites for occupancy by completing a “Pre-walk-through” inspection, identifying any repairs and touch-ups required.

  • Liaise with Site Superintendents to confirm final coordination.
  • Complete “Pre-Walk-through” items utilizing either Spring Creek manpower or coordinate the repairs with the required contractor.
  • Install and test appliances.
  • Test mechanical systems.
  • The goal is to turn over unit with zero deficiencies.

Assist with the Customer walk-through of the suite with the purchasers on their possession day.

  • Educate homeowners on the operations of the suite, providing a general understanding of the Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, and Geothermal systems of the home.
  • Record any deficiencies.
  • Provide homeowners with an approximate schedule of repairs.
  • Educate the homeowners on the proper maintenance of their home.

After Occupancy

  • Communicate with homeowners to get a full understanding of warranty/deficiency issues.
  • Respond to and address any deficiencies as they arise.
  • Coordinate with the Client Care Administrator to determine if deficiencies should be completed in-house or coordinate the contractor(s) as required.
  • Coordinate with the Client Care Administrator to let the homeowners know when a repair is complete.
  • Continued education of the homeowner on operation of home (e.g. thermostats).
  • Continued education of the homeowner on the proper maintenance and operations of their homes.

Condo Buildings (managed by a Property Management Company)

  • Assist the Client Care Manager and the Property Management Company / Condo Boards on required repairs and replacements and provide general mechanical system knowledge.
  • Assist the Client Care Manager to coordinate repairs as approved by Property Management Company / Condo Boards.

Spring Creek Owned Properties

  • Assist the Client Care Manager to set-up and audit Building Maintenance Teams to complete required scheduled maintenance.
  • Provide expertise as required to the Building Maintenance Teams.

Spring Creek Client Care (after Spring Creek 1-year warranty)

  • Consult with homeowners on maintenance, repairs, and replacements.
  • Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and replacements after homeowners’ approval.
  • Track parts and labour costs and coordinate with the Client Care Administrator to produce an Invoice Request.
  • Price check, order, and maintain an adequate supply of required parts to keep on hand.
