Job Summary:
Are you an ambitious professional with experience in the construction industry, specifically in multi-family projects such as townhouses, 4plexes, and wood frame constructions? Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Site Supervisor in the vibrant city of Calgary and contribute to the success of our innovative multi-family projects.
Key Responsibilities:
On-Site Coordination:
Assist in coordinating day-to-day on-site activities, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to project schedules.
Collaborate with the Site Supervisor to manage subcontractors and vendors effectively.
Quality Assurance:
Support the implementation of quality control measures to maintain the highest standards in construction.
Conduct regular inspections and address any issues promptly to ensure project excellence.
Project Documentation:
Assist in maintaining accurate project documentation, including daily reports, safety records, and progress updates.
Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and safety standards.
Team Support:
Work closely with the Site Supervisor to provide leadership and support to on-site construction teams.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to enhance overall team performance.
Safety Compliance:
Promote and enforce safety protocols to create a secure working environment for all on-site personnel.
Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in construction, with a focus on multi-family projects, townhouses, 4plexes, and wood frame constructions.
Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in the Calgary region.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced construction environment.
Eagerness to learn and grow within the construction industry.
