Pharmacy Front Store Assistant Manager
Laclie Pharmacy in Orillia is looking for a full time Assistant Front Store Manager. At Laclie Pharmacy we provide the best patient care in a friendly and inviting environment. We are team driven to care and support our patients as well as each other.
Being one of the original and most well-established pharmacies in Orillia we have a loyal patient base, and the local doctors have come to trust us to truly care for our mutual patients.
Our front store is a vital part of the pharmacy. Patients rely on the front store to have the “Over the Counter” medications for their family needs.

What you will be doing:
- Ensure the front store is adequately stocked, and the pharmacy receives the medications they ordered.
- Accurately determine what products are needed in the front store and place the order daily
- Receive front store and dispensary stock as it arrives at the pharmacy, check the order for accuracy and place items on the shelves as they come in with the assistance of other front store staff.
- Ensure front store planograms are being followed.
- Assess what product the store requires and accurately place orders to best fill the stores needs.
- Purchases giftware and home decoration products to stock the front store giftware area
- Assess supplier promotions to determine if they are in the best interest of the store
- Checking shelf stock matches computer inventory
- Plan seasonal orders such as Christmas, Halloween and Easter orders 6 months in advance.
- Provide excellent care and service to our amazing and loyal patients through competent knowledge of front store products
- Ensure company standards are being maintained within the pharmacy.
- Assist the Front Store Manager with the front store’s smooth operation
- Fill in on front cash when needed to cover an absence or sickness
How you will thrive:
- Inventory management experience is required, no pharmacy specific experience required
- Experience managing other staff is required
- An ability to show leadership in the pharmacy front store and make decisions
- Be organized and accurate in your activities
- Be highly self motivated with a high level of character
- Have a “can-do” and positive attitude that can contribute to the positive culture at Laclie Pharmacy.
- Be comfortable using Microsoft Office programs
- Be able to complete tasks quickly and accurately
- Excellent reading, writing and verbal English communication skills required
- Have a caring and supportive outlook for the people, customers and coworkers around you
- Be able to lift and move totes/boxes of inventory short distance, these can weight up to 40lbs.

Salary: $20-21 an hour depending on level of experience.
M-F, 8 hour shift usually 9-5, sometimes 10-6
