Associate Advisor

Job Summary

As an Associate Advisor, you will be responsible for providing advice and support to our clients, identifying new opportunities, and help grow our business by actively prospecting for new clients as well as meeting with existing client base.

Skills/Requirements

· Excellent problem-solving skills to provide proactive client service.

· Effectively respond to client inquiries and take ownership of follow-ups.

· Help build and execute business plans, client segmentation exercises, and client service plans.

· Identify opportunities across the existing client base as well as proactively seek out new clientele.

· Nurture and manage valuable relationships with Centers of Influence (COIs)

· Trading and / or portfolio rebalancing support.

· Support both the Lead Advisor by meeting with clients, manage documentation, track progress and follow up.

Must-Have

· Minimum of 2 years of professional experience within the industry

· CIFC (Investment Funds) or industry equivalent, and Life/A&S licenses

· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English

· Proficiency in Word, Excel, CRM systems and other related business or money management tools – ASSET

· Ability to multi-task and be flexible while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.

· Ability to think critically and evaluate all the data available to help clients meet their goals

· Ability to build & foster relationships

· Possess a commitment to professionalism and a positive attitude

Nice-to-have

· CFP/QAFP/PFP –or willing to work towards

· Strong organizational and time management

· Experience with Conquest Planning Software/financial planning software an asset
