Position Overview:

We're seeking a dynamic, confident individual to join our team as an Associate Retail Manager/Bartender. In this role, you'll play a vital part in our business's growth by serving as a brand ambassador for our products and providing exceptional service to our guests. If you excel in managing bar and tasting room operations, crafting exquisite cocktails, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and love connecting with people while sharing your enthusiasm for craft spirits, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage day-to-day bar and tasting room operations, ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

· Educate guests about our products and promote our brand through excellent customer service, showcasing passion for our products.

· Conduct spirits tastings and craft cocktails showcasing distillery products. Collaborate with owners to create a seasonal cocktails menu.

· Perform tasting room and bar stocking, inventory management, and reporting.

· Process payment transactions: handle card and cash transactions, ensuring all funds are accounted for at the end of the shift.

· Monitor alcohol intake, identify any intoxicated guests, and work with management/owners to take appropriate action.

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the retail area.

· Collaborate with the retail team to develop promotional strategies and initiatives.

· Foster positive relationships with guests and provide product knowledge and recommendations.

· Supervise retail staff, plan shifts, and ensure engagement.

· Take initiative in providing support in merchandising, in-store marketing, social media advertisement, and promotion.

Qualifications:

· Minimum one year of relevant retail environment and bartending experience.

· Proficiency in crafting cocktails and knowledge of spirits.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

· Team player mentality, willing to assist with other duties as required.

· Professional, reliable, knowledgeable, and a self-starter.

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.

· Passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

· Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

· Smart Serve certification is a must.

· Ideally, a Prince Edward County resident (accommodations not provided).

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $19.00 per hour

• Weekends as needed
