Kelsey-Seybold Clinic is Houston’s premier multispecialty group practice, founded in 1949 by Dr. Mavis Kelsey in Houston’s renowned Texas Medical Center. More than 800 physicians and allied health professionals practice at 40 locations in the Greater Houston area. Kelsey-Seybold offers quality medical care in 65 medical specialties. The organization operates the largest freestanding Ambulatory Surgery Center in Texas. It provides state-of-the-art Varian TrueBeam and Varian Edge radiation therapy technology at a nationally accredited Cancer Center. 

Audiologists at Kelsey-Seybold are certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners, and are fellows of the American Academy of Audiology.

Kelsey Seybold Clinic is seeking experienced Clinical Audiologists interested in full-time and per diem positions at multispecialty clinics in Houston. We currently have a full-time staff of six Audiologists and several on-call Audiologists. We seek an Audiologist with at least three years of experience with an Au.D., ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A), and a current Texas License.

The clinic is interested in a professional who can function independently, providing a full range of clinical Audiology services in a fast-paced ENT setting, including hearing aid dispensing.

Responsibilities include:

• Assessment of Newborn, Pediatric (Play and VRA), Adult, and Geriatric Populations
• Administer and Interpret Audiological evaluations (Comprehensive audiogram, Full Immittance)
• Otoacoustic Emissions
• Hearing Aid Dispensing of multiple hearing aid manufacturers
• Real Ear Measurements
• Earmold impressions and modifications
• Provide essential patient and family education
• Epley maneuvers

Further future opportunities may include vestibular testing interpretation, cerumen removal, electrophysiological testing, and cochlear implants.

• Comprehensive hearing evaluations
• Hearing aid evaluations and fittings
• Advanced hearing aid technology, including programmable and digital hearing aids
• Hearing aid repairs
• Hearing aid accessories and batteries
• Earmolds and custom swim plugs
• Assistive listening devices

Our Diagnostic Services include:

• Comprehensive hearing evaluations
• Otoacoustic Emissions Screening
• Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) Testing
• Electrocochleography (ECoG) Testing
• Electronystagmography (ENG) Testing

Further future opportunities may include vestibular testing interpretation, cerumen removal, electrophysiological testing, and cochlear implants. At Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, you will see patients in the office from 8am-5 pm Monday through Friday.

Qualifications include:

• Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A)
• Texas License for Audiology
• Three years of experience preferred
