Duties:
- Provide attentive and responsible care for children in the absence of parents or guardians
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to play and learn
- Engage children in educational activities to promote their development
- Prepare and serve meals and snacks for children, ensuring they receive proper nutrition
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks related to the children's care, such as tidying up play areas and washing dishes
- Follow parents' instructions regarding daily routines, discipline, and any specific needs or preferences
Skills:
- Experience working with children of various ages
- Ability to educate and engage children in age-appropriate activities
- Proficient in cooking and meal preparation for children
- Strong caregiving skills, including patience, empathy, and the ability to handle challenging situations calmly
- Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR is a plus
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with both children and parents/guardians
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized environment for the children
