Looking to hire a reliable live-out nanny for our 8 almost 9 month old little girl.
Look for close to full time hours. They will have to be flexible and be able to be scheduled around my shift work at the hospital (as I am an RN, so I work shift work, but my finance works M-F 7am-430pm). There will be some week days I won’t need a nanny but then some weekdays I’ll need someone from 6am to 5pm, other days I may need them from 6am to 3pm (when I work night shifts so I’ll be home but I’ll have to get sleep) and only from Monday to Friday. No weekend shifts.
We are looking for someone with lots of experience as this is our first and only child and we are quite protective of our little one.
The person we hire will need to be able to lift 30+ lbs as our girl is big for her age and is about 28lbs and does not crawl or walk yet. Must also be comfortable with feeding / baby led weaning for a 9 month old.
They must be able to be around 3 cats (which usually just sleep in our bedroom or on their cat trees all day).
Also must be comfortable with nanny cams which will be in clear view of our girls bedroom and the main living room area.
We would require a police check, references, and proof of first aid / cpr training and hopefully have further nanny / child development training.
We live in Rutherford, but we will be moving sometime in the late spring / early summer to a larger place but remain in the south side close to Rutherford. We are hoping to get a nanny and keep them up until our little girl can go to preschool.
Salary will be based on experience but I see the going rate is roughly $20 an hour. We just are looking for someone who can provide a loving environment while we are at work. We aren’t super strict on “screen time” or anything like that and don’t expect any major cleaning just things like tidying the kitchen if you make something to eat.
If this is something you’re interested in let me know and we are set up hopefully a phone interview.
