Duties:
- Provide attentive and responsible care for children in a safe and nurturing environment
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities, such as games, crafts, and educational play
- Prepare and serve meals and snacks for children, ensuring they have a balanced and nutritious diet
- Assist with homework and educational activities to support children's learning and development
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying up after meals and playtime
- Follow any specific instructions or routines provided by parents regarding the care of their children
Qualifications:
- Previous experience caring for children, either as a babysitter, nanny, or in a similar role
- Ability to multitask and prioritize the needs of multiple children
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with both children and parents
- Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR
- Work setting: Employer's home. Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment.
Skills:
- Cooking: Ability to prepare meals and snacks, taking into consideration any dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Caregiving: Provide attentive and compassionate care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Experience with Children: Previous experience working with children of various ages, understanding their unique needs and developmental stages.
- Education: Engage children in educational activities that promote learning and development.
- Cleaning: Maintain a clean and organized environment and light housekeeping.
