Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, hours subject to flexibility (condensed schedule available).
Some evening and weekend commitments required.

Assistant to join their growing team.

The Executive Assistant is a member of the senior leadership team at Breton Ability Center. This
individual is a strategic thinker who thrives in a dynamic and transitional environment. The
Executive Assistant reports to the CEO and is responsible for providing comprehensive support to
the CEO, Board of Directors, Senior Leadership Team, and managing the organizations office
operations. We are looking for a passionate individual who drives client advocacy and contributes
to organizational changes to improve the lives of others and to build an organization that values
people.
Core Responsibilities:
• Manage the CEO’s calendar, appointments, communications, and aligning activities with
- Provide a high level of support to the CEO and the senior executive team through
designing and producing of complex documents, reports, and presentations; scheduling
and preparing for meetings with internal and external parties; assisting with special
projects; making travel arrangements; maintaining contact lists; event planning; and
completing expense and mileage reports.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all
Prioritize and determine appropriate course of action, referral, or response by exercising
judgement to reflect the CEO’s style and organization policy.
- Act as a liaison between the CEO and Board members, providing a high level of support to
including scheduling meetings; drafting agendas; developing, compiling, and distributing
presentation materials; and record meeting minutes on behalf of the Board Secretary.
- Provide smooth communication between the CEO and all staff, demonstrating leadership
projects by assigning work to appropriate staff, including the senior leadership team on
behalf of the CEO.
- Draft internal and external communications as requested by the CEO and executive team
with strategic goals.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and organizational metrics as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations, or a
- Must demonstrate a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a similar role with
- Significant experience supporting C-level executives and Board members. Nonprofit board
- Experience tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and organizational metrics is
- Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office and desktop publishing software; ability to design
- Exceptional organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail.
- Exceptional time-management skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Technical proficiency and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to grow and maintain relationships.
- High degree of professionalism in dealing with diverse groups of people, including Board
members, senior directors, managers, staff, community leaders, donors, and funded
partners.
- Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential
- Ability to complete a high volume of tasks and projects with little or no guidance.
